TUITION FREE TRAINING OFFERED

Under a newly formed partnership between the School Safety Advocacy Council and the National Guard, SSAC will offer tuition free Basic and Advanced School Resource Officer classes in both Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Over 60 officers from 8 states have already been trained under the partnership, and the number of classes offered will be expanded next year due to the popularity of the new course. "While there are many options for SRO training in the nation, we feel our course is the most advanced and up-to-date course available," states Curt Lavarello, SSAC Executive Director. In addition, SSAC also has a 24-hour version of the Basic SRO Course available for agencies seeking to limit the travel/training time. For more information about hosting a course at your training facility, please call 941-232-4633.
